The Life of a Single Parent

There are so many amazing things that having a child brings you, But there are just as many reasons to worry about them.

When you are a single parent and have no partner to share opinions, the thing always keeps your mind busy is to know if you are doing everything right. All the responsibility falls on you with no backup. Every time you have to make an important decision, answer a question or to say “no” to something, you have to ask yourself this question.

We are parents, but we are humans too, and it means that sometimes, you get things wrong. Sometimes, you don’t have all the answers or the patience of a superhero. It’s alright

Decisions based on Love

As long as you act and decide from the love you profess to your child and wishing the best for them, you are doing what you can and you are doing it right.

My advice is to go to a therapist or psychologist that lets you empty your mind and put your ideas in order. Because many times, the only thing you need is to change the perspective, and while you are “in the battle” you can’t see things clearly.

You can also find awesome books about raising children and children’s psychology that can help you a lot. Online professionals, support groups, educational blogs… nowadays your possibilities and resources are endless it just takes utilizing them.

Relaxation is the Key

When you get the habit of abstracting, when you have any doubt, you realize things; you don’t have to be as serious or worrisome as we think. It’s just our mind, the mind that loves stress and nerves. Especially when you are a single parent.

Calm down, get mentally afar from what keeps you awake at night (and I’m an expert at having sleepless nights, I can tell you it works) and you will find the right answer.

My work and soul are focused on visceral effort.
On the hunger of something better.
The freedom of discipline.
The righteousness of honesty and humbleness.
The intense power of bowing down.
The abruptness of finding your way to a safe place.
The peace when you finally find it.

That’s why I work on motivation, inner inspiration and self-empowerment.
