Societies Revolution

Modern society, no matter where you are in the world, is very flawed. The population falls into this sense of entitlement and fear through whatever their government, religion, culture says. Amidst all of the turmoil going on in the world we lose sight on humanity. All of the wars, terrorism, political turmoil, governmental fear and more, have had a very harsh effect on us. It is about time that the people stand up and open our eyes. We are in need of a revolution for societies sake.

We cannot be driven by fear like the rest of the population. We are people, individuals, humans, who have our own amazing ideas and views. We are being fed lies by the government, media, and even our peers. The US is a huge culprit to this. People in this country are very ignorant. That is why I think, especially here, we need a Revolution.Revolution for Society

When I say Revolution, I mean it in a few different ways: our society as a whole, our mindset, and governmental. Each of these I will discuss in depth in future articles. The thing is, without a major change, we are inevitably doomed. Throughout time, without change, life has not progressed as it should. Overall, I’m sure we all can agree, it does not matter where you are from, there is some type of major cultural change that needs to happen. I will be the first to say that the US is on the top of that list.

People can’t think like they do and expect anything good to happen. They are driven out of fear, and when backed into a corner, only bad is to come from that.

Speaking out and challenging things that are being fed to us must happen. We cannot sit here and live by someone else’s rules. We have to make our own, and don’t let anything influence our Minds.

“Revolution is not the uprising against pre-existing order, but the setting up of a new order contradictory to the traditional one” – Jose Ortega y Gasset

  1. Interesting article, but I’ll argue that such a change is not easy. For years now people have become accustomed to the same old political routine. In fact it maybe embedded so deep into some people’s mind that even imagining another way of doing things could be scary for them. To many, the current system will probably seem pretty good because they have their own worries in life, and would prefer not to spend any time worrying over society in this manner.

But if we’re to talk of societal revolutions, would it not make more sense to rebuild society from the foundations? The system right now is far too flawed, corrupted and distorted. To salvage what is left would seem nothing more than a time waster when rebuilding (even if time consuming) has a higher chance of producing the proper results with the right team of individuals.

    • Definitely, starting from the ground up will be hard, but it is necessary. What I feel is that we can say all that we want, but in the end it has to be a group of people who have the same vision and come together to make it happen. Everything that we see in today’s politics is skewed for sure, the issue is the system as a whole is against any type of real change. They founded the government on the premises that one person cannot make a change themselves.

Thank you for the response, I definitely love hearing more about what you guys think and your opinions!!

    • Definitely, the “information” that has been given leads to a completely wrong place. But the only thing we can do is seek the right information.

  2. It suits the politicians and wealthy industrialists to keep the majority of society as hamsters running round on the hamsters wheel. I did it for a long time and have recently jumped off the wheel for a break – The space to think, breathe and live a life again is a joy.. And you’re right we need to rekindle our true humanity! x

    • It has suited them for a very long time (Think the Rockefeller’s during the early 1900s and the steel craze)

Definitely glad you have done so, sometimes the best thing we can do is just take a step back and breathe. Then taking on the world is a much simpler task once you have found yourself again!

      Thanks as always!
